Oyster Roasts are a great way to entertain your friends and family during the Fall and Winter
seasons. They are especially fun during game day, at large family get together’s, and corporate or nonprofit events. It gives your guests a chance to mingle and catch up, in a way that only an oyster roast can. It is very popular for our customers to cater an oyster roast with a low country boil, or barbecue to make a full evening out of it.
We use local shell oysters from the high-salinity waters of Bluffton, SC for our oyster roasts. We have partnered with a local oysterman with 100 acres of oyster beds in the Bluffton, for the past 40 years. Our oysters are fresh, yesterday’s low tide fresh, and you can taste the difference. These oysters are appreciated by locals from Savannah, Beaufort, and Charleston, who are looking for the salty sweet oysters that they grew up eating as children.We steam our oysters on-site in specially designed stainless steamers until they’re juicy and plump.
It is all set up and ready to go before your guests arrive. We serve the oysters hot right out of the steamer with everything you need, including freshly made cocktail sauce, lemons, hot sauce, tables, table cloths, oyster knives, gloves for your guests, and boxes for shells. When we leave your yard is clean and neat, and the oysters are boxed up and ready for recycling.
